Introduction

Our client, a leading company in the energy sector, is currently seeking a Smart Metering Engineer (Dual Fuel) to join their team in a permanent, full-time role. You'll help to deliver the successful installations of Dual Fuel Smart Meters in domestic residential properties.

What you'll be doing:

Some of your typical activities will include:

• Completing Smart Meter Installations to domestic properties
• Managing your stock levels on van and/or via 'dropbox' facilities
• Providing first-class customer service, support and energy efficiency advice
• Making sure that all worksheet submissions are accurate and timely
• Working closely with the Smart Metering Operations Manager to meet targets
• Planning and managing your own workload in line with company deadlines
• Resolving customer queries in a professional and efficient manner

What you'll need to succeed:

• Previous Dual Fuel Metering experience
• Required certifications:
• Electrical: MOCOPA or EUSR
• Gas: MET1 and either CMA1 or CCN1
• Experience of working in a target led environment
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to work calmly under pressure and keep to deadlines
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
