Our client, a prominent consultancy in the building services sector, is currently seeking a Senior/Principal Mechanical Engineer to join their team, with opportunities available in either Cardiff or Bristol. This role supports a range of high-impact projects, including a major industrial facility in South Wales and an airport development. Positioned one grade above a standard Senior Engineer, this client-facing role requires strong communication skills and UK market experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and deliver mechanical design for projects across various sectors, focusing mainly on industrial and airport facilities.
• Work closely with clients to understand project requirements and deliver solutions that exceed expectations.
• Lead project teams to ensure timely and quality delivery while maintaining a high standard of engineering design.
• Ensure projects adhere to relevant UK standards and contribute to the development of sustainable, innovative solutions.
• Flexibly collaborate with cross-functional teams across Cardiff and Bristol offices.

Job Requirements:

• Proven experience in the building services industry, specifically within the UK market.
• Client-facing experience, with a strong focus on building and maintaining client relationships.
• Chartered status is preferred, though candidates willing to achieve Chartership within 12 months will also be considered.
• Strong technical expertise in mechanical design, ideally with experience in industrial and airport projects.
