Job Opportunity: Draughtsman

My client has over 20 years of experience in the industry and are seeking a skilled Draughtsman to join their team. They specialize in both clean and dirty water sites, offering a wide range of work scopes from small projects to multi-million-pound ventures.

About the Company:

• Experience: Over two decades of expertise in the field.
• Capabilities: In-house capabilities to carry out planned or reactive works.
• Accreditations: Annually audited by Achilles and CHAS to ensure our managerial systems and site works comply with current regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create detailed technical drawings and plans based on specifications provided by engineers and architects.
• Collaborate with the design team to develop accurate and high-quality drawings.
• Review and revise drawings to ensure compliance with industry standards and project requirements.
• Utilize CAD software to produce drawings and ensure all documentation is up-to-date.
• Assist in the preparation of project documentation and reports.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Draughtsman in a similar role.
• Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar).
• Steelwork background
• Strong understanding of construction methods and materials.
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good communication skills and the ability to interpret technical information.
