Job description
Our client, a leader in the digital payments space within the automotive sector, is seeking a talented Senior Systems Administrator to join their dynamic technology team. This opportunity comes at an exciting time as the company continues to expand its footprint across Europe and beyond.
Key Responsibilities:
- Overseeing the company's local IT infrastructure, including firewalls, switches, and cloud-based resources
- Implementing monitoring solutions to track system performance
- Managing and maintaining Microsoft Office 365 services and environments, including Azure-based solutions
- Administering account and permissions for authorised access
- Deploying and managing devices using Microsoft Intune
- Implementing and managing endpoint security solutions
- Leading and managing IT projects from initiation to closure
- Collaborating with the Head of DevOps & Infrastructure
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- Proven experience as a Systems Administrator in a tech environment
- Strong knowledge of Linux/Unix and Windows Server environments
- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, and GCP
- Experience with DevOps practices and tools (e.g., Github, Terraform, Kubernetes, Grafana)
- Solid understanding of networking concepts, protocols, and security
- Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash, Powershell)
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA Linux+, Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator) are a plus
