Job description

This role involves providing subject matter expertise to support the technical delivery of secure end-to-end radio solutions in a multi-bearer, mobile environment from design to delivery and transition to service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead teams or collaborate within a team to ensure solutions are integrated and technically leading projects, being accountable for their technical success
• Independently create and run test plans and schedules, and contribute towards strategy decisions
• Validate design documents against system requirements and produce appropriate test documentation
• Deliver demonstrations and presentations on technical subjects to senior stakeholders and industry partners
• Identify and resolve technical issues using in-depth knowledge of communications principles

Job Requirements:

• Qualified to a degree level in a relevant subject or extensive experience in the communications industry
• Experience providing technical leadership with demonstrable competence speaking to stakeholders
• Strong knowledge of military communication systems and utilisation of the full frequency spectrum
• In-depth knowledge of commercial telecommunications technology such as microwave, Wi-Fi, 4G, and LTE
• Proven experience conveying complex information to non-specialist audiences
