Job description

Our client, an innovative leader in the energy sector, is currently looking for a skilled Smart Metering Engineer to join their team in the M4 corridor. This permanent, full-time role will involve installing Dual Fuel Smart Meters in domestic residential properties, ensuring efficient and high-quality service delivery. Look for one Individal in each of these areas, BA, GL, OX, RG, SN.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide Smart Meter Installations to domestic properties
• Manage own stock levels on van and/or via dropbox facilities
• Deliver first-class customer service and support
• Offer energy efficiency advice to customers
• Ensure all worksheet submissions are accurate and timely
• Work closely with the Smart Metering Operations Manager to meet daily, monthly, and quarterly targets
• Plan, organise, and manage own workload to meet company deadlines
• Resolve customer queries in a professional and efficient manner
• Perform other duties appropriate to the role

Job Requirements:

• Excellent organisational skills
• Previous experience in Dual Fuel Metering
• Required Certifications:
  • Electrical: MOCOPA or EUSR
  • Gas: MET1 and either CMA1 or CCN1
• Proven track record of exceeding targets
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to work calmly under pressure and meet deadlines
• Capacity to work independently as well as part of a team
• Proficient in IT
