Location: Broughton, Chester (2-3 days per week onsite)

Duration: 6 month contract

Rate: £53.50ph UMB (Inside IR35)

Role:
Our client, a prominent player in the Defence and Security sector, is currently seeking a Configuration & Data Manager for a contract position in the aerospace industry. This role offers the flexibility of a hybrid work environment, requiring 2-3 days on-site in Broughton, and is set for an initial duration of six months.

Key Responsibilities:

• Leading the Configuration and Data Management team
• Ensuring effective Change Management across the projects
• Supporting Release and Deployment Management for hardware and documents
• Introducing and managing a new configuration management system
• Planning and estimating Configuration Management work
• Engaging in process improvement initiatives
• Providing training and mentoring to team members
• Building strong relationships with project teams, customers, and peers

Job Requirements:

• Experience in providing configuration management on aerospace projects
• Experience working with modifications to aerospace products
• Understanding of data management principles
• Familiarity with Defence Hardware projects is advantageous
• Excellent communication and leadership skills
