Job description
Our client, a prominent player in the financial sector, is seeking a highly motivated Data Analyst to join their permanent team. This role is crucial to ensure the correct importation, transformation, validation, interpretation, and exposure of all data, which in turn creates value in the decision-making process of the company. The successful candidate will work under the Iberia Data Manager and collaborate closely with various business areas to support operational actions and strategic plans.
Key Responsibilities
- Create data models tailored to the development needs of different business areas.
- Interact with various departments, presenting clear recommendations based on analytical business models.
- Ensure the correct importation, transformation, validation, interpretation, and modelling of data to create value in the decision-making process.
- Deliver analysed data in an appropriate format to facilitate decision-making and proactively identify improvements.
- Identify opportunities for improvement and design changes in the DataWarehouse to support business and IT projects.
- Collaborate actively with the team to search for and share information.
- Design and model databases necessary for report generation.
- Make proposals to business teams on how to present reports.
- Create reports to provide an overview for business departments and aid teams in generating their own reports.
- Specify, design, build, and support Dashboard and Report solutions.
- Contribute to spreading data culture throughout the company.
Job Requirements
Academic Qualifications: Higher education in applied mathematics, statistics, or a similar field.

Technical Competencies:
- Proficiency in SAS Guide programming
- Knowledge of SQL

- Understanding of relational databases (Modelling / DataWarehouse)
- Experience with reporting tools
