Job description

NATS are looking for an experienced Finance Business Partner to join them on a 6-month initial contract at their site in Fareham.

  • Due to the nature of the role, applicants must have resided in the UK for a minimum of 5 years and be eligible to obtain SC Clearance.
  • Hybrid working, 1-2 days a week onsite.
  • 6 month initial contract.
  • £300-350 p/d Umbrella, inside IR35.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the Senior Finance Business Partner to enhance the impact and understanding of financial reporting on business performance.
  • Provide analysis and insights that link financial reports to business strategies.
  • Implement effective commercial procedures to meet key operational, commercial, and financial targets.
  • Build and maintain good relationships with local management teams.
  • Ensure robust financial governance and compliance with corporate policies.
  • Challenge local management and provide insights based on financial data.
  • Support financial performance and planning review meetings with key stakeholders.
  • Assist in bid preparation, business case development, and contractual negotiations.
  • Liaise with SMEs in other finance areas and business sectors for feedback and project delivery.

Job Requirements:
To be considered for this role, you should meet the following requirements:

  • Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with experience across various finance functions.
  • Comfortable working in a rapidly changing environment and supporting change initiatives.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to communicate, present to, and influence local and senior management teams.
  • Proficient in writing clear, concise, and insightful reports.
  • Ability to balance commercial insight, logical skills, and stakeholder interactions.
  • Analytical skills extending beyond traditional finance functions.
  • Proactive and self-motivated, capable of delivering high-quality output to tight deadlines with limited supervision.
