Job description

Our client, a leading player in the engineering sector, is currently seeking a skilled Utility Surveyor to join their team in East Birmingham. This permanent role offers an opportunity to utilise your surveying expertise in a collaborative and professional environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conducting precise surveys to ensure accuracy and compliance with project requirements
• Performing utility surveys and mapping underground utilities
• Preparing detailed survey reports and presenting findings to project teams
• Utilising advanced surveying tools and software to collect and analyse data
• Collaborating with engineers and other stakeholders to support project delivery
• Maintaining comprehensive records of survey data and documentation
• Ensuring all surveying activities adhere to industry standards and safety protocols
• Providing technical support and guidance to junior staff, if applicable

Job Requirements:

• deep excavations multi utilities experience i:e water, gas, electric, etc.
• Utilities Detection/Mapping or equivalent
• Utilities Detection/Mapping or equivalent
• Experience in setting out & as built capture with GPS/Total Stations
• Good knowledge of PAS128 and PAS256Good computer

Salaries:

• 40K - 45k basic + Car or car allowance + lodge (if lodging and living more than 55+ miles)
