Job description

As a CNC Machinist - Miller, you will be responsible for operating and setting up large CNC machines such as DMG DMC 160U, WFL 120 / WFL 65, and MAZAK E500. You will play a key role in manufacturing and machining precision components, adhering to tight tolerances, and ensuring the quality and efficiency of the production process.

Essential Skills and Experience Required:

  • Previous experience working with large CNC machines, such as DMG DMC 160U, WFL 120 / WFL 65, and MAZAK E500.
  • Strong ability to read technical drawings and accurately measure components.
  • Experience working to tight tolerances and using measurement tools.
  • Basic understanding of CNC programming and machine setup.
  • A proactive and positive attitude, with the willingness to receive further training.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
  • A valid passport and ability to undergo a DBS check as part of the application process.

Your tasks will include:

  • Operating CNC milling machines, including DMG DMC 160U, WFL 120 / WFL 65, and MAZAK E500.
  • Reading and interpreting technical drawings to produce accurate components.
  • Measuring, adjusting, and maintaining tight tolerances.
  • Basic programming and machine adjustments.
  • Ensuring a high standard of work, while adhering to health and safety regulations.
  • Demonstrating a positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills.
