Job description

Our client, BAE Systems is currently seeking a Senior Project Professional - Cost Engineer/Data Analyst to join their team on a contract basis. This role is critical to the Defence and Security business unit, specifically under Submarine Solutions. The position is primarily based in Frimley, with potential work sites in Filton or Broadoak, and offers hybrid working arrangements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analysing extensive sets of data to extract valuable insights
• Utilising data analysis techniques to support project goals
• Identifying key themes and patterns within data sets
• Building and maintaining relationships with approximately 11 different teams

Job Requirements:

• Proficiency in data analysis and interpretation
• Experience using Excel is essential; familiarity with SAP, VBA, and P6 is advantageous
• Strong background in cost engineering and project management
• Ability to thrive in a collaborative team environment
• Significant experience in the defence industry, specifically within the scope of defence and security projects
• Current and valid SC (UK eyes only) security clearance

Work Environment & Duration:

This is a 6-month contract role, providing a stimulating and collaborative environment. The successful applicant will be required to work three days a week on-site, with flexibility for remote working for the other days.
