Job description

Our client, a leading aerospace company, is currently seeking a skilled Sheet Metal Worker for a contract position. This is an excellent opportunity for a professional with significant experience in the aerospace industry, particularly working with thin aluminium and aero components.

Key Responsibilities:

• Fabrication and assembly of sheet metal components
• Interpreting technical drawings and blueprints
• Utilising a variety of hand and power tools to cut, form, and assemble metal parts
• Ensuring all work meets quality and safety standards
• Collaborating with engineers and other team members to complete projects
• Inspecting finished products for accuracy and conformity to standards

Job Requirements:

• Experience with sheetmetal work, particularly in the aerospace sector
• Proficiency in handling thin aluminium
• Understanding of aero component fabrication
• Current experience as a Sheet Metal Worker
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and blueprints
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Team-oriented with excellent communication skills
