Job description

Our client, a prominent player in the aerospace sector, is currently seeking a Project Planner to join their team on a 3-month contract. This role involves planning for a facilities modification programme, managing complex requirements to transform an empty building shell into a fully operational facility complete with security, power, IT and initial working cells.

Key Responsibilities:

• Developing a central integrated plan from building possession to full operational readiness
• Ensuring compliance with customer and stakeholder specifications
• Coordinating with various stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution
• Managing project timelines and ensuring all milestones are met
• Communicating detailed plans effectively and holding accountability for project outcomes

Job Requirements:

• Experience in planning for large facilities, ideally within a construction background
• Proficiency in Microsoft Project, with the ability to create and manage detailed plans
• Experience with other planning software, particularly Primavera, is beneficial
• Exceptional stakeholder management skills
• Proactive and autonomous working style
• Current or recently held SC clearance
• Ability to work between sites in Emersons Green and Filton
