Job description

Our client, a renowned consultancy, is currently seeking a Senior Civil Engineer to join their team. This permanent position offers an exciting opportunity for experienced professionals to make a significant impact on various infrastructure projects, particularly in the realm of Section 278 (S278) works.

Key Responsibilities:

• Leading the design and implementation of infrastructure projects, with a particular focus on S278 works
• Utilising Civil3D software for the planning, design, and management of engineering projects
• Carrying out site inspections and assessments to ensure compliance with project specifications
• Producing detailed engineering drawings, specifications, and reports
• Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality project outcomes
• Liaising with clients and stakeholders to ensure clear communication and successful project delivery
• Mentoring and guiding junior engineers to support their professional development
• Managing project schedules, budgets, and resources effectively

Job Requirements:

• Significant experience in civil engineering with a focus on infrastructure projects
• Proficiency in using Civil3D for design and project management
• Strong understanding of S278 works and associated regulations
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Ability to lead and manage project teams effectively
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
• Relevant engineering degree or equivalent qualification
