My client, a leading sports tech business is looking for a Data Architect

Job Duties:
* Design & Strategy: Architect cutting-edge, scalable data solutions using AWS services, ensuring peak performance and reliability.
* Data Management: Masterfully manage data storage, retrieval, and processing across AWS S3, Redshift, and other AWS tools.
* Innovation: Lead the charge in integrating the latest AWS technologies and best practices into our data architecture.
* Leadership: Inspire and mentor a team of top-tier data engineers, fostering a culture of relentless improvement and collaboration.
* Optimization: Continuously refine data workflows and processes to achieve unparalleled efficiency and minimal latency.
* Security: Implement and uphold robust data security protocols to safeguard our most valuable asset-information.
Key Knowledge/ Experience

• Spark/EMR: Big data processing frameworks
• AWS S3: Data storage solutions
• AWS Redshift: Data warehousing and analytics
• AWS Lambda: Serverless computing for ETL processes
• AWS Glue: Data integration AWS RDS: Managed relational databases
• AWS Lake Formation: Data lake management and governance
• Python/SQL: Programming for data processing and querying
• Amazon Kinesis: Real-time data streaming
• dbt (Data Build Tool): Data transformations in warehousing
• Data Governance Tools: Understanding of AWS Data Catalog or Alation Data
• Governance Policies: Understanding governance frameworks
• Data Quality Tools: Ensuring accuracy and consistency
• Data Modelling Tools: Experience with tools like Erwin or Lucidchart
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in data architecture and AWS environments.
