Job description

Our client, a prominent consultancy within the rail sector, is currently seeking a Senior Technician to join their team on a permanent basis.

Key Responsibilities:

• Utilising software such as Revit, Microstation, and AutoCAD 3D to prepare detailed design drawings for rail projects
• Collaborating with engineers and other team members to develop high-quality technical documentation
• Maintaining and managing project files and documents in an organised and efficient manner
• Ensuring compliance with industry standards and company procedures
• Assisting in the preparation of technical reports and presentations
• Identifying and suggesting improvements to technical processes and methodologies
• Mentoring and providing guidance to junior technicians as required

Job Requirements:

• Proficiency in Revit, Microstation, and AutoCAD 3D
• Experience in the rail sector, with a solid understanding of rail design and construction principles
• Strong technical drawing and drafting skills
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
• Good communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and stakeholders
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously, ensuring deadlines are met
• Relevant technical qualification or equivalent experience in a related environment
