Job Title: Commissioning Engineer

Location: Birmingham

Employment type: Contract

Duration: 3+ Months

Our client, a notable player in the rail communications sector, is currently seeking a Commissioning Engineer to join their team on a contract basis in the Birmingham area. The role involves working on the West Midlands trains, specifically focusing on the Station Information and Surveillance Systems (SISS).

Shifts will predominantly be carried out on days - may be some occasional nights.

8 hour shifts.

Key Responsibilities:

• Installation, Testing & Commissioning of SISS equipment - in particular HANWA VSS / CCTV.
• Maintenance of the communication systems.
• Ensuring all systems meet safety and operational standards.

Job Requirements:

• Proven experience with Station Information and Surveillance Systems (SISS)
• Sentinel PTS
