Job description
Our client, a leader in the HTP industry, is currently seeking a Site Engineer to join their dynamic team. This permanent role provides a unique opportunity to work on some of the UK's most exciting projects, offering stability and career growth within an ambitious and successful environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Establish level and survey control for contracts and set out detailed works as per contract drawings
- Ensure records on health, safety, and environment are accurate and comply with organisational and legal requirements
- Deliver work safely, without environmental incidents, and to the specified quality standards
- Assist the Site Agent/Sub Agent in developing efficient work methods and techniques
- Coordinate site engineering control, setting out activities, and provide information to operatives and subcontractors
- Complete diary sheets along with any photographic evidence as required
- Conduct as-built surveys on completed works and produce 2D and 3D site sketches
- Mentor junior and graduate engineers as needed
Job Requirements:
- Experience in site engineering, including pavement and TP144 Site Engineering
- Strong knowledge of reinforced concrete and site engineering processes
- Understanding of health, safety, and environmental compliance
- Ability to produce accurate records and maintain quality standards
- Proficiency in developing and maintaining positive working relationships
- Competence in managing resources and conducting toolbox talks
- Excellent organisational skills and ability to manage information accurately
