Job description

Our client, is currently seeking a Chartered Town Planner to join their team, this permanent role offers a hybrid working arrangement with three days in the office and two days from home. The role strictly adheres to normal office hours, ensuring a structured work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Providing strategic planning advice on a variety of projects, from single units to large housing developments
• Preparing and submitting planning applications and appeals
• Conducting site appraisals and assessments
• Liaising with clients, local authorities, and stakeholders
• Preparing detailed reports and planning documents
• Monitoring and managing project timelines and budgets
• Attending and presenting at planning committee meetings
• Ensuring compliance with all relevant planning regulations and policies

Job Requirements:

• Experience in town planning
• RTPI Chartered or actively seeking to obtain this qualification
• Strong understanding of planning regulations and policies
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently
• High attention to detail and strong organisational skills
• Capability to work both independently and as part of a team
• Relevant degree in town planning or a related field
