Job Opportunity: Hardware and Software Integration Engineer - West Midlands

Key Responsibilities:


  • Plan and integrate software deliveries into complex hardware and software systems.

  • Conduct system testing and validation to ensure seamless integration and functionality.

  • Troubleshoot hardware and software issues, diagnosing faults effectively and ensuring timely resolution.

  • Utilise diagnostic protocols and re-programming tools to support system functionality.

  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to support the full systems engineering lifecycle, adhering to the V-model process.

Required Skills and Experience:


  • Industry Experience: Previous experience working in an automotive, manufacturing, or industrial environment.

  • Integration Planning: Proficient in planning integrated software delivery into complex systems.

  • Tools Proficiency: Hands-on experience with CANoe and CANalyzer.

  • Diagnostics Knowledge: Familiarity with diagnostic protocols and re-programming procedures.

  • Systems Testing: Strong background in system testing and validation.

  • Communication Protocols: Detailed knowledge of CAN communication.

  • Troubleshooting: Excellent troubleshooting and fault-finding skills.

  • Technical Proficiency: Competent with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.

  • Engineering Lifecycle: Solid understanding of the full systems engineering lifecycle and V-model methodology.
