Job Title: Technical Author
The Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Author to join our client's team. The ideal candidate will have a talent for translating complex technical concepts into clear, concise, and engaging documentation. You will collaborate with product managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to create and maintain high-quality materials that support our products and users.
Key Responsibilities:
- Write, edit, and maintain technical documents, including user manuals, installation guides, API documentation, and online help resources.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze technical information.
- Organize and structure content to ensure clarity, consistency, and accuracy.
- Use documentation tools and content management systems to develop and manage content.
- Ensure all documentation aligns with company branding and style guidelines.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, tools, and best practices to continually improve our documentation processes.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Technical Author, Technical Writer, or similar role.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong understanding of technical concepts and the ability to explain them clearly to non-technical audiences.
- Proficiency with documentation tools such as [Adobe, Confluence, or Microsoft Word etc…].
- Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and agile development processes is a plus.
