Job description

Due to project demands and growth our client is seeking a Project Manager to join their busy team in Plymouth.

Suitable candidates will have strong an Engineering background which will ideally be from marine, marine civils, construction and/or infrastructure but open to other heavy industries.

You must also be eligible for SC Clearance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Overseeing the planning, execution, and completion of marine infrastructure projects.
• Managing project timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure successful delivery
• Coordinating with cross-functional teams, including engineers, designers, and external stakeholders
• Ensuring compliance with industry standards and safety regulations
• Identifying project risks and implementing mitigation strategies
• Communicating project progress and updates to senior management
• Enhancing client relationships through effective project management and exceptional customer service
• Documenting all aspects of the projects, including progress reports and technical documentation

Job Requirements:

• Experience in project management within engineering
• Strong understanding of engineering principles and practices
• Excellent organisational and leadership skills
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Problem-solving mindset with strong attention to detail
• Relevant degree in engineering or a related field
