Our client, a prominent player in the water industry, is currently seeking an experienced M&E Project Manager to join their dynamic team in North Wales. This permanent position involves overseeing the planning, execution, and delivery of projects under various Framework Agreements, with a strong emphasis on mechanical and electrical engineering in clean water and wastewater projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Overseeing the full lifecycle delivery of water and wastewater projects, including design, construction, and commissioning phases
  • Ensuring timely and cost-efficient project delivery while maintaining high standards of safety and quality
  • Fostering effective communication and collaboration with client representatives, internal teams, and external stakeholders
  • Developing and monitoring detailed project plans to identify and mitigate risks proactively
  • Maintaining open and transparent communication with clients to align expectations and ensure satisfaction
  • Leading, motivating, and supporting project teams and subcontractors to maximise productivity and innovation
  • Upholding and advocating the highest safety standards and policies throughout all project activities
  • Managing the commercial aspects of projects, including budgeting, resource allocation, and procurement

Job Requirements:

  • Significant experience delivering clean and wastewater projects
  • Relevant industry qualifications such as HNC, Degree, or NVQ Level 4 in Site Supervision
  • Possession of CSCS, ECS, or SKILLcard certification
  • Certification in SMSTS and First Aid at Work
  • In-depth technical expertise in mechanical, electrical, and water/wastewater operations
  • Proficiency in project management software and IT systems
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Committed to maintaining high standards of safety, quality, and compliance
