Job description

You will be involved in the management, maintenance and improvement of MOD vessels.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead by example and enforce company policy.
• Ensure diving operations are carried out in accordance with the UK Diving at Work Regulations.
• Maintain relevant diving qualifications to remain qualified.
• Report to and liaise with Diving Supervisors and Superintendents/Operations Coordinators to ensure high-standard operations.
• Inspect and audit life support equipment and plant load out/load in lists to ensure only in-date equipment is used on projects.
• Clean and maintain diving equipment to ensure it is in proper working condition.
• Provide operational feedback to assist with the development and growth of UK operations.
• Support typical tasks including underwater inspection, repair, and maintenance (IRM) of vessels and estates/infrastructure and underwater lifting operations.
• Use company vehicles to transport equipment to dive sites and between offices.
• Collaborate with other team members, such as engineers and project managers, to plan and execute underwater projects.

Job Requirements:

• Recognised Diving qualification supported with evidence of training.
• Minimum 2 years experience, preferably 5 years at an inshore/offshore work site
• In-date HSE Diving Medical, maintained up-to-date.
• Experience evidenced by a diving logbook.
• Significant experience at inshore/offshore work sites.
• Good interpersonal skills.
• Good computer skills, particularly using Microsoft packages.
• Eligibility for Security Clearance up to SC (minimum 5 year residency in the UK)
