Job description

Our client, a key player within the energy sector, is currently seeking an experienced E&I Project Manager to join their dynamic team permanently. This role is integral in managing all aspects of E&I project construction, ensuring high standards in HSE, quality, technical precision, and productivity.

E&I Project Manager - Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide Health and Safety leadership by example, through communication, compliance monitoring, and shared learning.
  • Work closely with the project team to ensure a consistent approach to all work carried out.
  • Produce E&I estimates within the customer-owned database.
  • Manage changes, including cost variations and schedules.
  • Adopt standard project control management, monitoring KPIs and compliance procedures.
  • Set and manage achievable goals and targets for the site team.
  • Ensure the competency of project personnel in your team.
  • Maintain accountability for the quality of work delivered by your team/department.
  • Manage labour resources and materials for the contract.
  • Coordinate vendors and sub-contractors.
  • Ensure clear and approved work scopes are available for the project team.
  • Contribute to meetings, presentations, and reviews with stakeholders to effectively communicate and monitor progress.
  • Ensure all project controls meet or exceed the project KPIs.

Job Requirements:

  • Experience in controls and instrumentation, site management, and project management.
  • Proficiency in instrumentation and estimating.
  • Understanding of project control management and KPI monitoring.
  • Experience in providing HSE leadership and compliance monitoring.
  • Ability to work closely with project teams to ensure consistent and high-quality work.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Relevant qualifications such as HNC/HND Electrical and Electronic Engineering, IOSH Managing Safely, COMPEX, and APM P are desirable.
