Our client, a prominent entity within the automotive sector, is seeking an experienced Programme Manager to join their dynamic team. This permanent role is based in the UK, primarily working from Leamington Spa with occasional travel within the EU.

Job description
The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing multiple complex projects and ensuring their successful delivery on behalf of diverse global customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leading several complex, fast-paced projects simultaneously
- Engendering a pro-active and tenacious project management team
- Collaborating cross-functionally with design, manufacturing, quality, assembly, commercial, and other teams
- Managing project delivery, commercial exposure, opportunities, and risks
- Providing account management for customers throughout the project lifecycle
- Solving problems while adhering to policies and procedures
- Implementing innovative technical/management principles focused on continuous improvement
- Fostering a culture of creativity and effective problem resolution
Job Requirements:
- Proven record of delivering fast-paced projects to deadlines, ensuring quality and customer satisfaction
- Strong business acumen and the ability to implement business/technical principles effectively
- Technical mechanical product knowledge, ideally within driveline systems
- Automotive project delivery experience, preferably motorsport drivetrain project delivery
- Engineering degree or equivalent experience
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
- Good working knowledge of MS Office, including MS Project
- Aptitude for logical, methodical problem-solving using techniques such as 8D
- A basic understanding of the German language is essential, with the ability to speak a little German preferred
Desirable Skills and Qualifications:
- APM member, ideally at full level or similar
- Demonstrated continuous learning throughout their career
- Good working knowledge of MRP/ERP Systems
