Our client, is seeking a highly skilled Senior/Principal Civil Design Engineer to join their team on a contract basis. This role involves working on wastewater projects, specifically Severn Trent projects, with a blend of office (Redditch, Midlands) and remote work.

Key Responsibilities:

• Leading the design and development of civil engineering solutions for wastewater projects
• Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality engineering designs
• Ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements
• Providing expert advice and technical guidance to junior engineers and project teams
• Maintaining project documentation and preparing detailed reports
• Conducting site inspections and assessments as required
• Participating in client meetings and presentations
• Overseeing project timelines and managing resource allocation

Job Requirements:

• Experience in civil design engineering, specifically within the water sector
• Proficiency in designing solutions for wastewater treatment projects
• Understanding of non-infrastructure projects
• Strong knowledge of relevant engineering software and tools
• Excellent communication and leadership skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities effectively
• Relevant engineering degree or equivalent qualification
• Eligibility to work inside IR35 compliance
