Off Aircraft Maintenance Bays Operator - Contract

Location: RAF Lossiemouth
Reporting To: Bay Logistics Supervisor

Are you organized, detail-oriented, and ready to take on a pivotal role supporting military aviation logistics? We are seeking a Logistics Support - Off Aircraft Maintenance Bays Operator to ensure the smooth management of assets and spares in RAF Lossiemouth's Off Aircraft Maintenance Bays.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain accuracy in data input across manual and electronic registers.
  • Ensure compliance with Mil Part 145 legislation and regulations.
  • Oversee day-to-day movement and accountability of assets per schedules.
  • Manage aircraft spares through regulatory processes, adhering to current guidelines.
  • Support the progression of assets within the bay to facilitate the SFT RTP recovery process.
  • Provide logistical support for the Airbrake recovery process.

Role Duties:

  • Process harvested RTP assets.
  • Issue stock efficiently and accurately.
  • Maintain and update bay logistics registers.
  • Submit transport requests as needed.
  • Receive R2 assets into bays and process them through the Asset Gateway for repair.
  • Conduct MJDI inventory transfers and Maintenix transactions in accordance with business processes.

What We're Looking For:
The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to problem-solving. Prior experience in logistics, inventory management, or maintenance processes, particularly in a military or aviation environment, is highly desirable.
