Job summary
Our client is seeking a highly experienced Project Manager with extensive highway experience to join their team at the Sizewell Nuclear Plant in Woodbridge. Immediate start, requiring on-site presence for five days a week.

Job description
Key Responsibilities:
- Defining the detailed scope to be delivered and managing the interfaces with other programme elements.
- Working with stakeholders and contract partners to develop a robust project programme.
- Managing the project budget, including monthly expenditure monitoring and reporting.
- Developing a risk management plan and managing specific risks and opportunities.
- Securing required resources and identifying any resource shortfalls or issues.
- Maintaining project governance arrangements and organising gate reviews.
- Developing and maintaining effective communications with internal and external stakeholders.
- Anticipating, managing, and resolving project issues and escalating any risks to the Senior Project Manager.
- Ensuring that lessons learnt and knowledge capture are practices are standardised.
- Establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with project team members.
Job Requirements:
- Experience in delivering highway schemes within the Design Manual for Roads & Bridges (DMRB).
- Experience of working in a regulated highway environment, including local authority or Highway England.
- Knowledge of Chapter 8 and experience of delivering or managing traffic management schemes.
- Professional Qualification in Project Management such as APM PMQ or recognised equivalent.
- Experience with procurement and management of complex contracts.
- Proven success in engaging multi-level stakeholders, including contractors and consultants.
- Working knowledge of CDM Regulations.
- Proficient in cost control, risk management, and schedule management.
- Experience with NEC and FIDIC commercial arrangements.
- Working knowledge of the French language is advantageous.
