Our client, a prominent organisation in the Defence & Security sector, is currently seeking a Recruitment Operations Professional to join their team in Preston. This is a 12-month contract position with hybrid working arrangements, requiring 2-3 days on site per week. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to significant projects within the defence industry.

Key Responsibilities:

• Managing end-to-end recruitment operations for the defence sector
• Coordinating with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and requirements
• Implementing recruitment strategies to attract top talent
• Screening and shortlisting candidates based on job requirements
• Overseeing interview and selection processes
• Ensuring compliance with relevant employment laws and company policies
• Providing regular updates and reports to senior management
• Collaborating with various departments to ensure smooth recruitment operations

Job Requirements:

• Experience in recruitment operations, preferably within the defence sector
• Strong understanding of the defence industry and related requirements
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency in using recruitment software and tools
• Ability to manage multiple recruitment projects simultaneously
• Detail-oriented with strong organisational skills
• Ability to work effectively in a hybrid working environment
• Relevant qualification or equivalent experience in Human Resources or a related field
