Our client, a renowned company in the technology sector, is currently seeking a Data Engineer for a contract role of six months. This position requires expertise in Data Bricks and Azure, with the successful candidate expected to spend two days a week in London.

Key Responsibilities:

• Developing and maintaining robust data processing solutions using Data Bricks
• Designing and implementing data models to support analytics and reporting
• Building and managing ETL pipelines in Azure
• Collaborating with stakeholders to understand data requirements
• Ensuring data quality and integrity across various platforms
• Troubleshooting and resolving data-related issues
• Optimising data processing performance and scalability
• Documenting technical solutions and best practices

Job Requirements:

• Proven experience in data engineering roles
• Strong proficiency with Data Bricks
• Hands-on experience with Azure data services
• Understanding of ETL processes and data modelling
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
• Good communication skills to interact with stakeholders
• Willingness to travel to London two days a week
