Job description

Our client, a dynamic entity in the technology sector, is currently seeking a proficient Software Engineering - Application Lead to join their team on a contractual basis, located in London at 20 Farringdon Road.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the design, build, and configuration of applications, serving as the primary point of contact.
• Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) and manage the team to ensure high performance.
• Engage with multiple teams, contributing to and guiding key decisions.
• Develop innovative solutions to enhance application performance.
• Lead and mentor team members to achieve project goals.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and ensure project alignment.
• Conduct regular code reviews to maintain high-quality standards.
• Stay updated on industry trends and technologies to drive continuous improvement.

Job Requirements:

• Expert proficiency in .NET Core.
• Recommended expert level of proficiency in Amazon S3.
• Suggested expert proficiency in MongoDB.
• Experience in API development using .NET Core framework 6/8.
• Proficiency with MongoDB or any other NoSQL DB.
• Experience in writing unit test cases using JUnit, NUnit, XUnit, etc.
• Strong design skills with an understanding of microservices architecture.
• Preferable knowledge of AWS Cloud, including Lambda functions.
