Job Opportunity: Design Engineer - Tooling (Hybrid, Bristol) | Up to £60.50/hr (Umbrella, Inside IR35)
Location: Bristol (2-3 days on-site per week)
Contract: 6 months (potential to extend)
Rate: £38 - £45 pe hour (£53.30 - £61.50 per hour Umbrella)
IR35 Status: Inside IR35

We're currently seeking a Design Engineer (Tooling) to join our engineering team on a 6-month contract basis. This is a hybrid role based in Bristol, offering the opportunity to work on innovative design and manufacturing projects in a forward-thinking environment.

🛠️ Key Responsibilities:

• Support tooling design and development projects within a cutting-edge research and manufacturing setting.

• Deliver high-quality design solutions focused on Design for Manufacturing.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, utilising CATIA and Teamcenter to develop, manage, and iterate tooling designs.

✅ Ideal Candidate Profile:

We're open to a range of experience levels, from Associate to Advanced Research Engineer, and welcome candidates who are looking to develop within a supportive and dynamic team.

Desirable Skills & Experience:

• Industrial experience in tooling design.

• Exposure to or experience in composite materials design (desirable but not essential).

• Strong background in Design for Manufacturing (DfM) principles.

• Proficiency in CATIA and Teamcenter.
