Job description

Our client, a leading technology company specialising in multiplayer football management games, is currently seeking a Senior Full Stack Developer to join their innovative team. The role is permanent and offers the opportunity to work predominantly remotely, with occasional meetings in London. This is an exciting chance to contribute to a platform where users own Digital Football Clubs and compete for real money prizes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and design the technical architecture of new game features
• Develop and iterate on features from MVP to production-ready
• Fix bugs and ensure features are live-ready
• Maintain and enhance existing features post-launch
• Collaborate with a small, high-performance team

Job Requirements:

• Experience in full-stack development
• Proficiency in TypeScript, ReactJS, NextJS, NodeJS, and Docker
• Knowledge of CSS, design systems, component libraries, ChakraUI, Tailwind, and GraphQL
• Excellent problem-solving skills and rapid prototyping ability
• Commercial experience with user-facing live products
• Ability to learn new technologies quickly
• Strong communication and collaboration skills

Desirable Attributes + Skills:

• Interest in football and gaming
• Experience working in start-ups
• Background in gaming industry
• Familiarity with AWS (Lambda, ECS, EC2, Event Bridge, SQS, S3, etc.)
• Experience with message queuing (RabbitMQ/SQS)
• Knowledge of Solidity and Web3
• Experience with Pnpm
