Job description

Our client BAE Systems, a prominent player in the Defence & Security sector, is seeking a Contingent Recruitment Specialist for a contract position within their shared services unit. This role is based in Preston with hybrid working arrangements of 2-3 days per week, offering a unique opportunity to contribute to large-scale recruitment campaigns over a duration of 12 months.

Key Responsibilities:

• Working with hiring managers from initial vacancy consultation until first day readiness, setting and managing expectations, and offering a world-class end-to-end recruitment service
• Managing relationships with the agencies on the preferred suppliers list to ensure they fully support the contingent recruitment campaigns
• Collaborating with the team to ensure KPIs and SLAs are achieved
• Providing advice and guidance based on recruitment best practices, market conditions, and being a subject matter expert to facilitate the overall recruitment process
• Ensuring candidates and hiring managers are efficiently engaged and supported throughout the recruitment cycle through regular and timely communications
• Managing a high volume and variety of vacancies across a specific business area

Job Requirements:

• Experience in recruitment consultancy and recruitment processes
• Strong understanding of recruitment best practices and market conditions within the Defence & Security sector
• Excellent communication and relationship management skills
• Ability to manage a high volume of vacancies and work efficiently in a hybrid work environment
