Job description

Our client, a leading player in the water industry, is currently seeking a skilled and dedicated Regional Pump Engineer to join their team in Tilbury. This permanent position offers a dynamic environment where you will be responsible for the service, maintenance, and repair of various pumping equipment, ensuring optimal performance across a designated region.

Key Responsibilities:

• Service and maintain pumps, hoses, and generators to a high standard both on-site and at the depot
• Reduce backlogs of non-RFH equipment and carry out major repairs and refurbishments
• Ensure timely servicing of equipment and maintain up-to-date service records
• Diagnose faults and perform necessary repairs on a variety of pumps, hoses, and generators
• Adhere to strict Health & Safety practices at all times
• Maintain an organised, clean, and tidy workspace and vehicle

Job Requirements:

• Experience in the maintenance and repair of pumps, hoses, and generators
• Relevant pump qualification or time served as a pump engineer
• Possession of a CITB/NVQ qualification is preferable
• Valid driving licence is essential
• Excellent mechanical and electrical aptitude
• Ability to work flexibly to meet regional demands
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
