Job description

Our client, a recognised leader in the defence sector, is currently seeking four Procurement Engineers for a 6-month contract. This role is positioned within the Military, Air & Information (MAI) division, focusing on critical procurement processes for defence projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Managing procurement activities for defence projects
• Ensuring timely and cost-effective procurement of materials and services
• Coordinating with suppliers and internal teams to meet project requirements
• Assisting with the development and implementation of procurement strategies
• Monitoring supplier performance and addressing any issues
• Maintaining accurate records of procurement activities
• Ensuring compliance with industry regulations and company policies
• Participating in contract negotiations and supplier evaluations

Job Requirements:

• Experience in procurement, preferably within the defence sector
• Strong understanding of procurement processes and strategies
• Ability to work effectively in a high-pressure environment
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills
• Ability to work on-site 3-4 days per week
