Job description


Our client, operating within the Defence and Security sector, is seeking an experienced Programme Coordinator to join NATO's Enterprise Security team within the Office of the Chief Information Officer. This contract role will focus on supporting and tracking NATO's Cyber Adaptation Roadmap, ensuring progress, milestones, and deliverables are achieved effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintaining oversight and coordination of the NATO Cyber Adaptation Roadmap implementation, including developing and tracking metrics.
  • Reporting on the progress and status of activities, milestones, and lines of effort.
  • Engaging with Enterprise stakeholders via written communication, online portals, and meetings.
  • Supporting the annual refinement cycle of the Cyber Adaptation Roadmap through discussions, workshops, and liaison with Roadmap annex leads.
  • Developing and refining the NATO Enterprise Cybersecurity Scorecard and ensuring its alignment with Cyber Adaptation Roadmap implementation.
  • Producing project briefs, memos, stakeholder communications, and meeting reports.
  • Supporting the annual NATO Enterprise Cyber Security Conference.

Job Requirements:

  • University Degree in a relevant domain.
  • Expert knowledge of Project and Programme Management concepts and processes.
  • Certifications or good working knowledge of project management methodologies, preferably within cybersecurity.
  • Extensive experience in project and/or programme/portfolio management.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Experience in managing medium or large-scale projects in multistakeholder environments.
  • Professional experience in risk management, cyber governance, and technology change management.
  • An understanding of the NATO organisational environment.
  • Proficiency in NATO's official languages: advanced in English and beginner in French.
  • Experience in organising international conferences and technology events.
