Job description
Our client, a prominent player in the Defence & Security sector, is looking for an experienced Project Manager (Capability Development Support) on a contract basis. This role involves working within the NATO environment to support the ICT and cybersecurity capabilities development, contributing significantly to NATO's digital transformation mandate.
Key Responsibilities:
- Developing specific proposals for CFCDGM management products in consultation with subject matter experts.
- Overseeing and coordinating initial cyber adaptation roadmap activities, ensuring alignment with other Roadmap chapters.
- Tracking and monitoring the development of management products and joint staff advice.
- Supporting the OCIO's input to joint staff advice, ensuring coherence and coordination among NATO stakeholders.
- Reporting progress and performance on the implementation of ICT and cybersecurity capabilities.
- Representing OCIO in coordination meetings concerning CIS and cybersecurity topics.
- Providing support to unforeseen urgent requirements as necessary.
- Driving and supporting coherence among Enterprise stakeholders to facilitate new products and ways of working.
Job Requirements:
- Experience in NATO's capability delivery process and strategic objectives.
- Familiarity with technical, military, and political aspects of CIS and cybersecurity governance within NATO.
- In-depth understanding of NATO capability development across the DOTMLPFI spectrum.
- Project management qualification such as Prince 2 or PMP.
- Understanding of ITIL and Service Management processes.
- Good understanding of business requirements management and risk, issue, and dependency management.
- Excellent English writing skills with the ability to effectively brief work in English.
Desirable Skills:
- Previous knowledge or experience with the CFCDGM process.
