Job description

Our client, a leading IT services provider, is currently seeking a Senior PMO Manager to oversee its IT program transitions. This is a contract position focusing on the ERP S4 HANA Transition Program aimed at enhancing business processes and technical capabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Acting as a key member of the Program Leadership team, contributing to strategic decision-making and program direction
• Shaping the overall program strategy and influencing key business decisions
• Leading, managing, and mentoring the project team in leading Programme Management practices
• Managing a PMO team including PMO Analysts, Finance Business Partners, Programme Administrator(s)
• Managing the day-to-day application and evolution of the programme's standards, methodology, work breakdown structure, and RACI
• Driving innovation and continuous improvement within the PMO and the broader organisation
• Establishing Programme Management standards, reporting, tools, and documentation
• Maintaining and overseeing the Integrated Program Plan, milestones, stage gates, and change control governance

Job Requirements:

• Experience in managing a programme management office for large, complex, and global multi-disciplinary programmes
• In-depth understanding of various project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall, PRINCE2)
• Experience of global transformation and business change programmes enabled by an ERP implementation, particularly SAP S4 HANA
• Proficiency in project management tools and technologies
• Advanced knowledge of risk management frameworks and techniques
• Proven experience in leading and managing change initiatives
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with an ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels
• Excellent data analysis and problem-solving skills
