Job description

Key Responsibilities:

• Responding to planning applications of various scales on behalf of the Highway Authority
• Assessing and negotiating off-site mitigation packages
• Evaluating internal site layouts for suitability
• Considering access arrangements and their appropriateness
• Collaborating with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure effective planning and project delivery
• Providing expert advice on transportation and highway matters
• Ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and guidelines

Job Requirements:

• Experience in transportation planning and development
• Strong understanding of highway authority procedures and requirements
• Proficiency in assessing planning applications and site layouts
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with internal and external parties
• Attention to detail and strong problem-solving abilities
• Relevant degree or equivalent qualification in a related discipline
