Job description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assessing and marking flood risk and drainage applications
  • Managing planning applications, especially from the Local Flood Risk Authority (LFFA) side
  • Providing technical input and support for various flood risk projects
  • Liaising with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Reviewing and providing feedback on flood risk assessments and mitigation strategies
  • Contributing to project planning and execution in line with flood risk management practices

Job Requirements:

  • Experience in flood risk management and drainage
  • Understanding of planning applications, particularly from the LFFA perspective
  • Proficiency in assessing and marking applications related to flood risk
  • Ability to effectively communicate technical information to a range of stakeholders
  • Problem-solving skills and attention to detail
