Job description

Our client, a prominent player in the technology sector, is currently seeking a Frontend Engineer with expertise in React to join their dynamic team. This permanent role offers the opportunity to work in a hybrid environment, blending remote working with occasional office visits.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate closely with the UI/UX designer and other team members to ensure seamless integration of front-end and back-end components
• Focus on improving user experience, including usability and visual design
• Implement and maintain consistent UI patterns and components
• Optimise web and mobile applications for performance, including fast load times and smooth user interactions
• Help maintain and improve a React components library
• Develop and implement testing strategies, including unit, integration, and end-to-end testing
• Mentor other developers with less experience in front-end technologies
• Collaborate closely with the PM and other team members to provide valuable insights for accurate work estimation

Job Requirements:

• Significant experience in front-end development with JavaScript and React
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot and debug efficiently
• Knowledge of responsive design and mobile-first development
• Experience with progressive web applications (PWA)
• Ability to break down complex development tasks into manageable chunks
• Eagerness to learn and acquire new knowledge
• A proactive attitude towards self-improvement and knowledge sharing

Desirable Skills:

• Experience with MUI, Python, Django, Postgres, and AWS
