Job description

Our client, a leading player in Subsea Rental and the Offshore industry is currently seeking an Offshore ROV Tooling Technician with the opportunity work with a team of talented professionals dedicated to providing the best technology solutions for the global energy sector.

Your role is key in supporting the offshore execution of ROV Tooling projects. You will be responsible for supporting the mobilisation, operation, maintenance and demobilisation of ROV Tooling equipment on client vessels and onshore locations.

You will also assist in the development of technology and continued improvement of equipment and services provided by Ashtead Technology.

This is a full-time remote role. There will also be potential for international travel.

Some other things that will help you to succeed in this role?

  • You will hold a qualification in Mechanical Engineering/ other technical discipline and/or equivalent industry experience
  • You have previous experience in a technician role undertaking repair, maintenance and testing of ROV Tooling equipment, preferably in a subsea environment
  • You have extensive knowledge of ROV Tooling, Torque Tools, Valve Packs, Cutters, LAOT'S, IHPU'S & a solid understanding of hydraulics/electrics, with the ability to read schematics, including fault finding
  • You can read and implement engineering drawings
  • You are a problem solver and can act on your own initiative to solve our clients issues
