Job description

Our client, a prestigious consultancy in the Infrastructure sector, is seeking a Senior Civil Design Engineer to join their team on a permanent basis. This role involves contributing to a wide range of projects from residential developments to schools, hospitals, and storage units. This position offers the opportunity to engage in the full project lifecycle, from concept design to detailed implementation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Undertaking and reviewing technical designs using Civil3D, InfoDrainage, and MicroDrainage
• Checking and approving design work performed by junior engineers
• Managing the entire project lifecycle from concept design to detailed design and implementation
• Working on projects across various sectors, including residential, educational, healthcare, and industrial
• Ensuring compliance with relevant standards and regulations
• Collaborating with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders
• Providing technical support and mentorship to team members
• Ensuring project deliverables meet quality, time, and budgetary requirements

Job Requirements:

• Expertise in Civil3D, InfoDrainage, and MicroDrainage software
• Experience in highways and drainage design
• Understanding of residential, educational, healthcare, and industrial sector projects
• Chartered Engineer status
• Proficiency in checking and reviewing technical work
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
• In-depth knowledge of relevant industry standards and best practices
• Excellent communication and time management skills
• Willingness to work 2-3 days a week in the office
