Job Title: Data Integration Manager

Location: Barrow-in-Furness, Cumbria

Flexibility: Hybrid working pattern, minimum of three days on site per week

Given the nature of the role, candidates must hold or be eligible to obtain UK Security Clearance - we are only able to consider sole British Nationals due to programme restrictions.

Introduction:
Our client, a leading Defence & Security organisation, is seeking a Data Integration Manager for a permanent role. The Data Integration Manager is responsible for sourcing and managing third-party data within a programme, focusing on the acquisition and throughput of technical documentation for end-users.

The role involves managing data requirements for project artefacts such as training devices and courseware, working with both internal teams and external suppliers, including the UK MOD and its contractors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead third-party/OEM data acquisition for project needs.
  • Establish systems for data management and ensure its accuracy and consistency.
  • Build relationships with data suppliers for efficient acquisition.
  • Ensure data requirements for training devices and courseware are met.
  • Adhere to client data processes with Configuration Management and Security teams.
  • Collaborate with Digital Technology to optimise data storage and retrieval.
  • Provide regular reporting and timely data delivery to end-users.
  • Conduct audits for data integrity and compliance.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Experience managing large quantities of data in dynamic environments.
  • Proficiency in data management tools, especially MS Excel.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship-building skills.
  • Knowledge of configuration management processes and systems.
  • Ability to obtain Security Clearance.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Experience with protected or sensitive data handling.
  • Knowledge of Systems Engineering principles (desirable).
