Job description

Key Responsibilities:

• Overseeing and managing site activities to ensure they align with NEC contract specifications
• Ensuring all highway civil works, including a mix of highways and structures, are completed to the highest standards
• Supervising day works, with occasional Sunday and potential night shifts as required
• Conducting regular site inspections and maintaining comprehensive site records
• Ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations
• Assisting with the resolution of any on-site issues or disputes
• Collaborating with the project team to ensure project milestones are met
• Providing regular updates and reports to project managers and stakeholders

Job Requirements:

• Strong experience in highway engineering and civil works
• Preferable experience with airside projects
• Accreditation as an NEC Site Supervisor or significant relevant experience
• SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme) certification
• Ability to work 8-hour shifts, including the possibility of night and weekend work
• Robust understanding of health, safety, and environmental protocols
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team

Contract Details:

• Location: Luton Airport
• Contract Duration: 6-month rolling contract starting in April
• IR35 Status: Outside of IR35
• Shift Pattern: Primarily day works, with some Sundays and potentially occasional night shifts
