Lead Offshore Engineer
The Lead Offshore Engineer is responsible for overseeing offshore construction and installation activities for floating wind projects. With extensive experience in offshore engineering and project management, the primary objective is to ensure the successful execution of offshore operations, including vessel mobilization, equipment deployment, and subcontractor coordination. The role requires strong leadership and communication skills to manage project teams and stakeholders effectively while adhering to safety, quality, and schedule requirements.

Professional Experience
- 8-10 years of experience in offshore engineering, with a proven track record of managing complex projects in the renewable energy or offshore industry.
- Experience in offshore construction, installation, and commissioning activities, particularly in wind energy projects.
- Demonstrated leadership experience, including managing multidisciplinary teams and subcontractors.
Specialized Expertise
- Strong knowledge of offshore construction and installation, including marine operations and logistics.
- Familiarity with offshore structural design principles, including support structures for wind turbines and associated infrastructure.
- Experience with dynamic positioning systems, mooring systems, and marine vessel operations.
- In-depth understanding of health, safety, and environmental (HSE) regulations and best practices in the offshore industry.

- Proven ability to deliver projects on time and within budget while maintaining quality and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead offshore installation campaigns, including planning, coordination, and execution of construction activities.
- Manage marine operations, including vessel mobilization, offshore logistics, and equipment deployment, ensuring efficient project execution.
- Oversee subcontractors and vendors for fabrication, transportation, and installation of offshore structures and components.
- Ensure compliance with project specifications, industry standards, and regulatory requirements throughout construction and installation.
- Monitor project progress, identify risks and opportunities, and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineering teams, and client representatives to address technical issues and ensure project success.
- Conduct site inspections and safety audits to maintain a safe working environment and mitigate potential hazards.
- Prepare reports, documentation, and presentations for internal and external stakeholders, providing updates on project status and performance.
- Stay updated on industry developments, emerging technologies, and best practices in offshore wind energy, contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.
