Electronic Design Engineer (x2) - Automotive - Kent - £40,000 to £65,000 - Hybrid Working

Are you an experienced Electronic Design Engineer with a passion for cutting-edge automotive technology? Join a dynamic and forward-thinking company in Kent, where you'll play a key role in developing innovative electronic systems for next-generation vehicles.

The Role

We are looking for two Electronic Design Engineers to join our engineering team on a permanent basis. You will be responsible for the design, development, and testing of electronic systems, with a focus on:

• Switched Mode Power Supplies (SMPS)
• Signal Electronics
• Microprocessor-based systems
• Mixed-signal interface design

While automotive experience is preferred, we welcome candidates from aerospace, defence, or other relevant industries with transferable skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop electronic circuits for automotive applications
• Work on mixed-signal electronics, including microcontrollers and power electronics
• Perform circuit simulations, testing, and validation
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including software and mechanical engineers
• Ensure compliance with automotive industry standards and regulations

Requirements

• Proven experience in electronic design (analogue and digital)
• Strong understanding of SMPS, microprocessors, and mixed-signal interfaces
• Experience with PCB design and layout
• Knowledge of automotive or safety-critical standards (desirable)
• Ability to work both independently and within a team
• Right to work in the UK (Visa sponsorship is not available)
